Warm & Contemporary Interior Design - New Home Project, Bucharest

Explore an **interior design** project that transforms a new, developer-finished house into a warm, contemporary, and perfectly cohesive home. Design First Studio created a personalized **space** where functionality meets modern aesthetics.

Design Concept: A New House, a Personalized Home

The main challenge of this renovation project was to transform a standard, developer-finished house into a space with a strong personality and inviting atmosphere. We aimed for a contemporary style, with warm accents and a cohesive approach throughout all rooms. The objective was to create an interior design that reflects the owners' lifestyle, while providing maximum comfort and functionality. Each area was designed to optimize the space and add aesthetic value.

Materials and Textures: Warm and Modern

To achieve a warm atmosphere, we opted for natural materials and pleasant-to-touch textures. Light-colored wood dominates the custom furniture, bringing a Scandinavian feel, while black metal accents add a modern and industrial touch. The neutral color palette, based on beige, cream, and gray tones, is harmoniously complemented by terracotta and olive green accents, which infuse vitality and personality. This combination ensures a balanced aesthetic and a sense of harmony throughout the entire space.

Challenges and Solutions: Optimizing Existing Space

One of the main challenges was integrating design elements into a space with existing finishes. The solution involved creating custom furniture that perfectly adapted to the dimensions and needs, cleverly concealing imperfections or pre-existing elements. Through careful planning of every detail, from lighting to storage, we managed to maximize functionality and avoid a cluttered feel. Every decorative element was chosen to contribute to the overall design narrative.

The Final Result: A Coherent and Comfortable Home

This interior design project transformed a generic dwelling into a personalized home, full of warmth and style. The result is a contemporary space where every element contributes to a unified and welcoming atmosphere. From the living area with an integrated fireplace to the modern kitchen and relaxation zones, every detail reflects our attention to quality interior design. The owners now enjoy a home that perfectly blends modern aesthetics with enhanced comfort.
